September Update

September was a fun and busy month for us.  Addison had her 2nd birthday, we took a family vacation, and we are attempting to potty train.  Addison was great for her birthday.  She wasn't nearly as shy as I had expected. She was singing Happy Birthday to herself for weeks before and after and still thinks anytime there is a cookout or party it is her birthday party.

The week after her birthday we went on our first beach trip to Destin.  Addison absolutely loved the "locean" and playing in the sand.  It was so nice to get away for a few days.  The potty training is going very well now thanks to Gigi and Papa.  Robert's parents watched Addison all of last week for what I like to call "Potty Training Boot Camp".  So everyone keep your fingers crossed for us that she will be done with potty training by the time the new baby comes.  Speaking of, everything is going well with the pregnancy.  We are 27 weeks right now, so we are just starting the 3rd trimester.  We have started on his nursery but still have a long way to go to get everything ready for the new baby boy.
